OK, it should have been 11-3.
Cleveland should just let it go. After daring to call Boston "Chokers", I have to laugh at the "Apprentice Cubs" heading into year 60 of their 100 years without a title.

Last time I checked a team is made up of several people...not just one or two even. When they fall...if anyone is to blame it's usually the head coach for not having the entire team properly prepared. I personally feel that the team wasn't connecting like they did all year...pushing for excellence each win--one at a time. That drive disappeared the last 3 games for some reason. Perhaps Byrds stinky press--who really knows? It was obvious there was a funk in the clubhouse. All they can do is walk away w/ their heads high & the experience of playoffs. That will inturn make them better & more prepared next time around.
Chokers? That's all people can say...let them talk--it will only make you stronger--more then likely they're just mad that the Indian's had a better season then their home team...lol! (I know this for a fact--coming from a Detroit Tiger's Season Ticket holder mind you) Nonetheless still a great season and the city of Cleveland should still be proud of their beloved Tribe. Looking forward to battling again in 08'!

I think some people thought if Kenny scored, momentum would have been in the Indians' favor. However, the pitching was so poor in the last 3 games, Kenny's score would not have mattered much.
I was very disappointed in the outcome. The Tribe just didn't live up to expectations. The season was great and the team brought Cleveland many exciting and wonderful memories.
Oh well, Wait 'til Next Year!

It was a horrible call by Skinner!
None the less, blaming an 11-2 loss on one bad call by the third base coach is a little like blaming all of the subsequent fielding errors by the Cubs on Steve Bartman back in '03.
Bad things happen and a team has to hold it together!

One play didn't change that game, but that one along with Lofton being called out at second and the 2-base error at third MAY have changed the game significantly. It ways just a case of Bad Karma!

It's a team game and the indians did not come together as a team the last three games.

the game is fixed, did you see how they called the strike zone on Carmona and Sabathia?did you see the when they called Kenny Lofton out at second?both those pitchers where on all season and then they get awful calls from the ump when mlb has the option of having an indians and rockies series, its all about money, read between the lines-with the same people that let steroid abuse run rampant for 25 years and before that amphetimines(they knew Sosa and Mcgwire where on roids but they needed to come back after the strike with a big story) and i can see whats going on here,i'm not an indians fan but if you look at it objectively you'll see the fix was in,in this day an age its not hard to tell that the money is more important than the competative nature of the game, very sad,i've watched baseball for 30 years, baseball is dead to me
