I just love the people I work with. even my boss is the best. then one day people higher up asked 5 of us to "temporarily" transfer to another account for 1 week. we went back to our team after that. But after some time, news came out that we were transferred permanently to that new account and we cannot do anything about it. All of us trashed the screening but we still "passed". Even my boss could not do anything anymore. It really sucks to transfer teams. Is it right to sabotage our performance to get out of the new team? whats the best thing to do?

You still have a job...if you sabotage you may be fired for incompetence, there may be other things at work here besides just PO'ing you & your commerades.

You have three choices:
1. Do your job the best you can.
2. Do a bad job and get fired and potentially sued if they can show intent.
3, Quit and find a new job

They do not need your consent to reassign you.

I don't see much you can do. If you keep "trashing" things to get out of it, you may be out of a job altogether. Evidently, your employer is more worried about this new account than about how you feel about it.

Would you rather work on the new account, or work somewhere entirely new?
