I've never seen them mentioned in here as I recall.
And they were arguably the best New Wave band in History
I just want to see how remembered they are.
My Cars List would be
1 My Best Friend's Girl
2 The Dangerous Type
3 Double Trouble
4 Moving In Stereo
5 Shake It Up
But what are Your Choices?

Love 'em, and I might as well just copy and paste your list, as that pretty much sums up my favorites too!
Elliot Easton is a great guitarist, well versed in many styles.
I saw him this past summer touring as a member of 'CCR Revisited'.
In the early 70's Ric Otcasek (his real name), and Ben Orzechowski (Benjamin Orr's real name) were in a band called 'Milkwood'. They released one album titled 'Hows the Weather'. Pretty decent stuff too, if you like folk/rock! Milkwood even played the famous CBGB's in it's early pre-punk days!

Not sure which song I like the best. Growing up in the Boston area I indentify with thier songs alot.. The first two albums are more my favorite ones. Okay now CDs....
It does bring back some good memories as I was aquintanced with Ben Orr (friend of my uncles) during the early 80. I never saw them in concert but knew him as a person instead of a Rock star. He was a decent guy. My uncle lived across the street and we would pick on Ben whenever the local HS girls would drive slowly by his house and stop at the end of his driveway. He did teach me to appreciate artists and the effort they put into thier work though that happened by accident. Something about a burning pungent weed and Pee Wee Herman...you had to be there.. Thanks for asking the question..

I adore The Cars. While I don't think they're the best New Wave band, they're definitely my favorite.

As for my favorite songs by them, my top five is the same as yours.
