This question was too much to resist posting so I have to give you a history of where it came from. One of my coworkers is at his desk cleaning pecans and out of no where, he said he always has to clean his nuts when he gets them. We all started laughing and the rest was history...P&S, here I come!!

Just so you all know...it wasn't ME doing the cleaning. I was merely at the right place at the right time to watch the show and hear the comment. I'm still laughing at the innocense of it all!! LMFAO!!!

I try not to because I like for them to have that nice, salty taste It's funny because my mom and dad gave me a pocket made of coconut skin especially for storing my nuts. I guess you could call it a brown, hairy nut sack. I even made up this game with my wife. See, she likes to pick melons in her leisure time, and well, when my nuts and her melons come together it's like a party. I'll slap my nut sack on her melons for what feels like hours, but ultimately they break down and start to leak. Before you know it I'm busting nuts all over her juicy melons. Soon after that I get really tired and fall asleep. She gets mad but hey, what's a guy to do right?

By the way I have a pecan tree in my yard, and I do not normally wash the nuts, I just shell them.

why yes I do, and you must make sure the bush is trimmed around the tree also, remember, beavers like their tree clean so dont forget to wash it too !!!!!!!!!!!!
