You, or someone else, probably spilled something on it.
Desktop keyboards are cheap, replace it. If it's a laptop, take it in for service.

may be there are some dust or carbon resides under the N key. you need to clean it up.
for now u can use "windows on screen keyboard" or copy the word n from a file name and press "ctrl+v" everytime u need N. :)

i thought you said you couldn't type it? You clearly typed N when you typed your question. get some air duster. it's a can that shoots air out into your keyboard.
