Did you ever have what you thought was a good friend and you told then something in extreme confidence and they stabbed you in the back ? I don't know if I should be pissed off or hurt ...maybe both ! And no it was no one from Answers !

I have had 2 friends like that. The 1st was trading up for more popular friend and the 2nd put me into a really dangerous situation. There will not be a 3rd. I have a very hard time trusting friends. I don't like to let people get to close.

Yes. My mother was my best friend. She began studying with Jehovah's Witnesses and wanted me to go along. I did. I studied. I asked questions. I decided it was not for me. I joined the Army, leaving her temporary custody of my daughters. I fought to get them back for four years. When all court proceedings were decreed in my favor, mom conceived a plot to have my daughters accuse my husband of sexual assault. It worked. I lost everything I loved in one fell swoop! Mom died 9/20/07 All is forgiven.

Personally, I have never had a confidence betrayed by one of my friends, I have either been lucky or picked my friends very carefully over the years. You will have to forgive your friend on the grounds of ignorance, and not let it eat you up.It's really not worth it.
