Yes, because the "lie-based" comment is a lie.
Consider this: Bill Clinton said in 1998 that Saddam was a threat to the US and Iraq's neighbors.
If that was a lie, then at some time between 1998 and 2003, wouldn't the Dems have screamed to the high heavens that their efforts to contain Saddam had worked?

Most of you Democrats Disgust me! I'm ashamed to admit I used to be one! I didn't even vote for George W. Bush the 1st election, but I am proud of the way he has stood up for America, and anyone else that has been pushed around by ruthless dictators! I served proudly in the Military and I always place my hand over my heart when the National Anthem is played! Unlike your democratic Hopeful Obama! I say a man that doesn't respect our patriotic customs has no place in Government! Neither do sympathizers who believe if we love the radical Muslims they'll leave us alone! You can thank Bush for no attacks since 9/11, but I know none of you idiots will! I'm proud George W. Bush is my president! You Damn sure should be too!!

Moot. If they can stop being spineless blobs of zombie flesh long enough to take a stand, Bush can just sell a boat with some planes on it to make up the difference. Probably under the guise of helping one of our "new allies against terror" fight the war more effectively - like Pakistan or Turkey or North Korea.

Polls seem to indicate that most Americans still hold the Republicans responsible for the war even though the Democratic Congress has approved money for it. With that in mind the Dems will probably give Bush the money because they have calculated it will hurt the Republicans more in the upcoming elections.

Based on history since 9-11 they answer is Yes they will approve the money for the war. As for the lie, they will not charge him nor will they put forward a "vote of no confidence" based on his term(s). I say they must know something we do not, my best guess is he hasn't lied.

It will be a serious mistake if they do cave. I doubt anyone will take the party seriously if they do cave.
They will give the '08 election to the Republicans.

Yes they will.
They call Bush the dumbest man in America and then do whatever he says.
If I were a Democrat voter I would not be a very happy camper right now.
We are approaching the one year Anniversary of when the Democratic party swept into a congressional majority saying: "We will end this war".
What happened?

The war is not "lie-based", regardless of how many times you repeat this Big Lie.
But you're spot-on regarding the complete lack of moral courage on the part of the Democrat-ticks. [Hey, I was whined at regarding calling Democrat-ticks "Democrats". ;)]
