listen to the song by Tim McGraw "Live Like You Were Dying"
Make the most out of every breath you have on this earth...I once read a series of quotes from a woman of 80+ yrs old, in which she stated all the things in life she would do different if she could live her life again. (knowing what she knows now) Life goes by in a blink of an eye.......enjoy it!

Nobody can tell when and where our life will be taken. If there's somebody knows it, what life would be? Unless doctors told you that you are this and that and you will last for the remaining two months, it is because you are totally sick of cancer, whatsoever.

Trend of sickness in your family might be hereditable, yes it is! So you're thinking that you will be having the same life span.

I don't see any problem about that because that is reality in life. Everybody has the beginning and an end. If such disease exists in your family, you should be aware on how to avoid things that will cause to that sickness.

Learn to accept things, my father had a cancer, my niece is a cancer survivor, but it doesn't came to my mind to be afraid of my life span. Instead it became a guide for me and the rest of my family to be careful about things.

Make everyday a happy and meaningful day for you. One thing is to make yourself busy with works and by helping others. This way, you will not be thinking of negative instead you will gain a positive perspective in life.

Life is a cycle, we go on top and to the bottom. We don't know when it will stop because we are not the driver. It is the Lord who takes control on the wheel of life. Once we finished our mission , I'm sure, that is the only time that I can say......the end is nearly coming. I must be ready.

It's good to look at life as a precious gift that will one day run out. It's sad to see people waste time on things that are meaningless, knowing that they need to spend more time with the ones they love and stopping to smell the roses along the way. However, you should also live as if you'll make it to 100 or beyond because - what if you do? It would be torture to live with a lifetime of mistakes made in the name of "I could die tomorrow."

I always try to live like that but it seems like I always get caught up in the same old rat race of life. It's definitely a good way to look at life though:)

No. In fact, I'm hoping it doesn't last much longer. I'm over it.

Also, I did almost die from cancer, and I'm still the same person. It didn't change me.
