Learning ballet isn't diffcult it just takes time and repetition for the ballet terms. The physical part may be a challenge for awhile until you get used to it. The most difficult part will be finding the time to do enough barre and center work.

the learning of it isn't that difficult, it's the execution of what you learn that might be a challenge. ballet is pretty precise in terms of how it's supposed to look, from the head all the way down to the feet. but do go and take some adult classes -- if nothing else, it's great exercise. good luck !!!!!

off course not! there is no "too late" in ballet so don`t worry. there are lots of adult ballet classes so just type it in google. if you try very hard you might just get into a ballet accademy and make a new carrier- it is possible to become a ballet dancer.-hope this helped and good luck:)

Yes. It is difficult to learn ballet as an adult. There are many reasons why but namely, turn out. Turn out is how far you can rotate your hips. If you haven't developped your ability to "turn out" your hips by 12 or so, it is extremely hard to train your body. It can be done - but it is difficult.
The optimal time to start ballet training is around the age of 8 or 9.

I would think some of the difficulty might lie in not having used your muscles in that way before (unless you are skilled at some other form of dance) and thus you may find it more difficult than someone who's been stretching and using their body in that way since childhood.
A lovely skill to learn though, as well as good for toning the body and overall fitness. Enjoy!

It you are athletic and flexible then it could actually be a great thing! But, the older your are the less flexible. It is better to do things as a kid and then continue as you get older. But, if you are flexible, why not?! Good Luck! :)

Much more difficult than other forms of dance, definately. Primarily because of the foot formation.
