Before you answer I have my 2 cents to put in. When I go to Walmart I see crowded parking lots (well, dwindling now), Long lines with not enough cashiers. I don't know if it is downsizing or people just don't want to work for you but shopping at Walmart is crappy experience because when I go there, I see made in china, trailer park trash, and a clientel that just has "welfare" written all over it! I want Quality not low prices and long waits in the checkout. Ok I am done, you guys take a crack at it.... thanks.

I agree. I don't mind pay an extra 10 cents to get a much better shopping experience anywhere else. I avoid that place like the plague. Our WalMart is always packed, the aisles are always loaded with one display after the other, and they make announcements over the speaker system constantly. By the time I leave there, I feel so stressed I can't stand it. It isn't worth it to me to save a few pennies to be so aggravated running errands. I go next door to Target--it's vastly more pleasant over there.

You are going to walmart too late in the evening. Swing by walmart in the mornings (before 11) and you will see different people, the parking is better and there are less stray carts in the parking lot.

Ironically waiting in line at walmart also happens in the morning when less people are there. Less shoppers means less people on the registers, and the walmart near me doesn't have the self check out.

You could also try Target.

I like the store. It is reasonable prices and clean. I have no complaints about the place.
