The battle of the giants are a comin'. LL will destroy
Jay Z, in an upcoming rap battle. The Queens vet,
has got beef, with the so call, King of Rap, Jay Z.
He is head of Def Jam Records, and has failed to
promote LL COOL J, for the past 3 years. So L teamed
with 50, and created, what street critics are calling
a classic. And he said himself, he is gonna tear they
chest open. He did it back in 1995, and he wil do it
again. So who will win this hip hop battle ? Jay Z, or
LL ?

Hey, don't sleep on LL. Listen to
the last track on his 2004, grammy
nominated album, Definition....
He is still hot as a kettle ! His lyrics
much more refined than ever.
He will blow Jigga out of the water,
just like he did all the rest. Like
Cool Mo Dee, Ice T, Hammer,
Tupac, Wu Tang, and of course
lil' ol' Canibus. The album drops in
early 2008....

i don't think Jay z would beat LL. We saw what happened to Canibus. People tend to think LL is soft because he usually raps for the ladies, but hes got some real battle skills that, like the Hulk, only seem to show when theres a threat. So hes got the motivation to rip Jay z who has become very soft lately.

People need to realize rappers always change when they are out the hood. Thats why most rappers are their best on their first album before they get the wealth. A battle with Jay z and LL is a battle of big dogs, but it ain't hood.

I have always said that NaS is the only MC that could have survived Takeover and Jigga is the only MC that could have survived Ether.

That battle alone is worth more than LL's lyrical blowtorching of Canibus and Mo Dee. And is better than subliminal shots at 2Pac in I Shot Ya.

Jigga will slay LL by a slim margin.

I hope this beef really pops off. Hip Hop needs these kind of battles every few years to cleanse all the crap and to remind people what it's all about.

Honestly, Jayz will murder LL. LL is OL OL and on top of that has lost his touch. Plus how long has LL made a hardcore song, since like early 90's. He didnt even come back at Canibus the right way, everything Canibus said he said different which is wack, cuz he should get his own lyrics. LL lost it, lost his touch. Jayz is still verbally inclined and will verbally ruin him. But as Jayz has matured and doesnt want to go that far. LL is just making diss tracks to promote himself with wack *** 50cent. Thats a good help?..lol. Jayz always had a hardcore rhyme and beat. The last time I heard Jayz make a soft tune on his own was on Song Cry. But LL damn I could name so many. Seriously, if LL does it to himself he will wake up a beast!!! Specially that Jayz said he will bring his Reasonable Doubt lyrics back..WOW!

Does anyone besides me think that LL got his *** handed to him by canibus? I mean look at the two diss tracks...canibus ate him alive..got personal and everything..nobody had gone at ll like that. The reason ppl say canibus lost is because that was the end of his major label career...but ummm wasn't that due to both LL COOL J AND WYCLEF getting him blacklisted???? Not many ppl had the power LL and Clef had in those days..both were coming off big years and albums..

LL Couldn't beat his way out of a paper bag these days..have ya'll heard that corny song "ny gangstas"...come on LL...shut up and go sit down somewhere...

Jay Z does not care about LL lol. He barely made a diss song against Dipset and sent out just on verse to Lil Wayne after Wayne was sending shot after shot. Jay Z has moved on from all that.

I would love for LL Cool J, but him teaming up with 50 is weak. Sounds like he's just hopping on whoever is hot at the moment to become relevent again.

Besides, too many people like Jayz to say he will lose, even if he did. There are still people that think Ether didn't rip him....

Jay will tear him a new one!

Oh I completely missed that. What is with the head to head competitions between rappers right now? They've both had huge influences on the rap industry. If anything it sounds like another publicity stunt which is not needed for these two talented guys. I won't be choosing - I can't!

I put my money on LL.
I heard LL is going to go to his old school roots on this battle, that's where LL is real hard to touch, plus the Old style is LL's roots and passion, he;s going to rip em up, L can write especially when he's heated. Shiiiiii he's been on Def Jam for 20 years or so.

Late!
