It happens at least once a day. I am driving down the street and a light will go off. Is it energy related? What the hell!

I have noticed that since I was a kid this happens to me a lot. Whether walking around the block or driving somewhere. Street lights seem to go out when I am around. I wish I had the same effect on slot machines.

Had that take place to me some cases, it somewhat is slightly unnerving besides the shown fact that this is merely accident. those in many cases ensue if the lighting fixtures fixtures are somewhat on the factor of the properties so it gets became off periodically so as that the easy does not hassle the occupants. unquestionably, i detect the flicking on and stale greater distracting than having the easy stay to tell the story for all time.

Depending on how old the light is, it may also turn off to avoid overheating. That you seem to trigger them is more a function of you not noticing all the lights you drive past which stay on.

Most street lamps have a sensor for detecting light. They are usually set to go on at dusk and off at dawn. If the lamp's sensor is out of adjustment, it will pick up your headlight and turn off. If you have a headlight out of adjustment (pointing too high) it will also turn off.
