No I don't pitty child molesters. Or drug addicts. Smoking on the other hand is a legal thing. In my opinion, since it's so darned dangerous, the government should make a prohibition against smoking. Yet I still don't pitty smokers. As you said, they CHOSE to start smoking.

Pedophilia isn't an addiction....more of a disease in a way...it's some thing in the way thier brain functions and it's hard, if not almost impossible for them to control.
It's hard to say if I would pity them....but my gut feeling says no, I wouldn't. I think they should acknowledge what they do is wrong and learn how to control themselves.

lol.... it's their fault they are addicted to smoking.... is she going to write to the business owners in city like baltimore that you can't smoke inside restaurants and bars?? that is bs we should pitty them or anyone else that has an addiction that is not only harmful to the person with the addiction but harmful to the people around them.

i dont think so.... i think that we make choices and have to live up to them. if we make a mistake it is on us and not anyone else. i feel sorry for people who cant get it together but its not like i am gonna dwell on it.
