it depends on your lease and i am thinking that if you dont pay it ,you will have it on your credit record and you will not be able to get credit untill it is paid off. good luck .

There's a couple options available. Firstly, look up a local health clinic or talk to someone from a church or a shelter; they can tell you about shrinks, councilors, and other mental health resources that cost little or nothing. Second, you can google "sliding-scale" psychiatrists (essentially, this means you pay only what you can afford; if you can't afford anything, then that's what you pay). Third (and I'd recommend this only after trying the other two), you can walk into a hospital, tell someone, anyone, that you're feeling suicidal, and they HAVE to treat you (whether you can pay or not). They'll probably want you to stay for a while, but they can't make you if you decide you want to leave. I sure hope this helps. I'll be praying for you. Coney

Depends on the lease. It is not their problem when life problems occur! You may have to pay "liquidated damages" or if you leave without paying, it could be a black mark on your credit. Is there not another job you can find, or two to make ends meet and protect the roof over your head and your credit?

You need to communicate with your landlord.
Legally, you can be held liable for the rent until either the lease is up or a replacement tenant is found. The landlord can also hold you liable for any costs that he may incur due to your breach, such as advertising costs, agent fees, etc.
Try to negotiate an early termination. It may cost you $$ and you may lose your security deposit. If you and the landlord can come to a mutual agreement - get it in writing.

Maybe depends on your lease. You could also take a lesser paying job to get by while you look for a better job.

Put an ad on rent.com and craigslist.org and find someone to take over your lease. If not, they can and probably will take you to court to get their money.
