I have decided to go and get some "counseling" due to my
anger and obsessing over every little thing to the point where i get sick, also for my anxiety

what can i expect?.. what questions will be asked me?.. please give me some insight

I went to a "Shrink" years ago. I don't care for that term.

I do remember filling out a form asking me how I felt at that very moment.

I don't remember much. I think she wanted me to go on tranquilizers and I said ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!.

I didn't see her that long. It took me a while but eventually, I learned to deal with the issue on my own.

I have been told psychiatrists are mainly interested in prescribing medicine while counselors are more prone to listening to what you say to find a way to change your thinking other than drugs.

first visit is usually pretty casual..some history, etc
