I just took the 4th pill today (I didn't take all 4 pills) and then I started spotting. Could I be pregnant or is this normal for missing that many pills? I am on week 3 in my pack according to when i would be fertile was the first day I missed my pill. I got pregnant right away last time when I stopped taking the pill... so could I be pregnant now with the spotting (almost like a light period)?

You are probably spotting because of the missed pills. You should use a backup method until you finish this pack. I would take a test if you miss your period. With 3 missed pills it is possible to get pregnant. All you can do now is wait and try not to worry too much. Just use a backup so if you aren't pregnant you don't get pregnant this week.

The answer above this is not right.. no offence haha I am on birth control and have been for 2 years.. if you missed 3 days you should call your doctor. If you are sexually active, don't have sex for at least the rest of the month, if you miss 1 pill then you have a chance of getting pregnant.. you need to take the pill every single day for it to be effective. If I were you, don't stop taking the pills but phone your doctor and they will tell you what you should do depending on what your taking the birth control for.

That is a sign of pregnancy but it could be anything. Two people in my family got pregnant while they were taking the pill. So anything could be possible. Go get a home PT or see a doctor to know for sure. GL!

You could be or it could be that your body is getting confused with all the stopping and starting of the pill!!
Are you trying to get pregnant??
