The other two are right, but here's more info:
After an off-Broadway debut in October 1967 at Joseph Papp's Public Theater, the production opened on Broadway at the Biltmore Theatre in April 1968 and ran for 1,873 performances, followed by a successful London production which ran for 1,998 performances.
