I dont think being shy is a bad thing. If it is shy to the point where you are afraid of interacting with other people, then I would say that-that can turn into a potentially negative thing. If you feel that this is happening to you, then try to make yourself go out to social engagements, and interact with others. Its not a condition. Not in the medical sense. I would describe being shy as not being able to communicate with other people, and your very reticent in your daily activities with others. I think like this: People are people. We all bleed. There is no reason why we should be afraid of talking and communicating with others.

part of someone personality. Like some may be out going, and you do not call it a condition to be out going do you? I do not think so. So being shy is just opposit of out going. That would be the best way for me to tell you. It would rude to even think someone out going has a "condition " right? So the same goes for shy. Bad habit , ha, ha! Not in the least!! Hope this helps you see eye , to eye. Have a nice day .

Hai shyness is a condition that you can overcome over a period time but still i think you can not fully overcome it. But one thing i want to make it clear that do not think shy people can not communicate well with others that is a wrong assumption. Hai shyness is only a part of a individuals personality. And if you ask whether shyness is a bad habit then i would say definitely it is but you can not blame it because it is part of that persons personality.

Hmm... well I think it might be a condition. I'm usually only shy around new people, and it's not like I can think to myself "you're being shy again, talk and act normally, this is just a bad habit". I feel like there's a clamp on my mouth... Not really sure how to explain it. Forcing yourself to speak in public helps a lot I've found :).

How your brain is wired. Some shy, some extroverted, some angry, etc. You can teach your brain to be someone else.

I was horriby shy when I was young. Now I never shut up. I just keep pushing myself into the spotlight. Slowly I changed into the person I am now.

I like ME now better than the ME of the past.

being shy is just a personality trait. Im very shy and to be honest I hate it. I just wish I was outgoing like everyone else cuz people judge being shy as stuck up. There are ways to overcome shyness but its hard.

Feeling Shy is not a bad habbit but it is a state of ones complex in inadequate knowledge of some subject in your area. So Intelligent peoples do not shy of themselves and always ahead in counter reacting to the subject under discussion. So If you enough knowledge do not be silent on the subject but react immediately, your shyness will melt like an ice in the open.

I feel shy most of the time, but no one knows it. I try to be more outgoing than I feel. If you try not to be shy, it eventually brings you out of your shell a little each time you're around different people. Good Luck!
