The Knights Inn Downtown West is conveniently accessible to the interstate and approximately four miles from Port Columbus International Airport at $38.

There are several hotels at that exit, you should be able to find a hotel with decent rates. I did a quote at http://www.resideo.com/us/ohio/columbus for the dates you specified and found the following:

Rodeway Inn
6125 Zumstein
$38/nite

Travelodge
6161 Zumstein
$50/nite

Super 8
$52/nite

Best Western
$59/nite

There are several more in that area - just sort the quote results by price!

Hope that helps...good luck!

a lot of cheaper hotels, there is an area caleld Eastland I think it's a mall complex were you can walk to restaurants and bars and things near by I think that is off of 71, I'm not from Columbus... yet. There are alot of good areas to stay, the arena district downtown is fun as well.

theres a lot of budget hotels in that area, and i've never known them to sell out their rooms, so you may just want to show up. you'll get a better price that way.
