My cycle is normally just 23 days...I'm now on day 26 and no period! I know it's only 2 full days late, but I've been trying so long to get pregnant----on one hand, I want to take the test and know now, on the other, I'll be crushed if it's negative. I think I would rather wait and take one when it will be really accurate. I know many of the tests say they are accurate up to 3 days before your period is due, but I'd like to hear from people with real experience...was your home pregnancy test accurate after just 2 days late, or should I give it a few more days??

You should test the day after you miss your period. Since you are three days late you should test! Good luck!

I think everyone is different hey. I am supposed to be getting my period on Thursday but I am getting pregnancy symptoms so I tested last Friday (6 days before my due date) and it came up with a very faint pink line, I have been taking the First Response HPT every 2 days since then and the pink light keeps getting darker.... So I say go ahead and get a test. Dont get a digital one, they usually only work if your pregnancy hormone is high.. Do a First response and if a light line comes up you are preggers!!!
Good luck!

Well, honestly, I took the clear blue easy digital test like 2 days after my period was late. Of course, I had some symptoms too. My breast were very tender. Don't take one of those cheesy test, get a good one. If you feel like you may be pregnant, take the test. Get the one with 2 in the box in case it is negative. It's cheaper to by them in two's. Good luck

I first took a pregnancy test 3 days before my missed period which was negative. I took a second pregnancy test one day after my missed period and it was positive. I would take the test now. I recommend that you take the test first thing in the morning as that is when your HCG levels are at there highest. GOOD LUCK! :)

I can never wait bu I know what you mean about feeling disappointed. The tests are never accurate for me until I am close to a week late for my period. Good luck!

Oh I know exactly how you feel! I was the same way so I waited until I was a full week late. On one hand my husband and I were both filled with anxiety to know and on the other hand, I couldn't stand the idea of another negative test. I would advise anyone to wait a week!
Good luck to you!!!!!
