yes that is a normal waight for the baby right now. babys dont put most of there waight on in the last month of pregnancy. when i was pregnant at 33 weeks she was only 3 pounds then she managed toput on another 6 plbs and 5 oz .she was 9 lbs 5 oz at birth. you still have 7 weeks so yes there is plenty of time for her to gain more waight. as for your doctor ask all the questions you want and make sure you understand completly be for you leave. thats there job and its your right to know exactly what is going on with your baby make her explain it to you.
good luck and congrats

Babies tend to gain their most substantial amount of weight from 36-40 weeks gestation. Your baby is fine at 33 weeks 3 lbs. But don't always go with what the ultrasound says. It can be off by a pound or 2 either way. Congrats on the little one!

Dont worry Ashley your baby will gain her/his weight soon...I was jus like that. When I got pregnant i had only weigh 92 pounds and as my due date get closer I start gaining pounds and so did my baby.. Your still kinda of early 33 weeks...every week ur baby should gain a pound that is what my doctor told me when I was pregnant..Just eat a balance meal everyday...Make sure you eat three times a day...You dont have to eat a big plate but at least a small portion of food.. I had my baby when I was 38 weeks and my baby had weigh 5 pounds 11 ounce. As long as your baby weigh 5 pounds or more that is very good....If you have any question you could email me at Glimpses2000@yahoo.com...

I agree with many of the others. I had an ultrasound at 38 weeks to look at positioning. The tech told me my son was 8 lbs 11 oz. I couldn't believe how big he was already. I delivered him 10 days late by c-section (unplanned) and he was 8 lbs 2 oz. If babies grow about 1/2 lb a week in the last weeks, he should have been over 10 lbs...2 lbs from what he was. Don't stress about it and if it's a big baby, its just more to love :) !!!

I'm 36 weeks now and at my 34th week my baby was weighing at 6.2lb!!!
So your probably carrying a small, little baby while I'm carrying a tall heavy one!!
Weight varies and if the doctors were concerned they would have told you by now.
In the last week or 2 during pregnancy your baby puts on a huge amount of weight.
I weight 149lbs at the mo but I am 5'8 plus only 4 weeks to go!!
Goodluck and don't worry x x x

It sounds good to me :)
If it was smaller or bigger than it should be they would have told you at the scan so don't worry about it.
Your baby will gain 1/4 to half a pound from now until the last few weeks of pregnancy when it will gain up to 1lb a week.
