I use this in a 70% over my garden pond in the summer it helps to keep the water cooler by several degrees and protects my koi from sunburn due to the UV rays. It is excellent for protecting anything from UV rays and yet you still get the light.
Yes, koi can get sunburned in shallow unshaded ponds. Try to provide some shade for your fish with plants like water lily's or a shaded cover or large umbrella for part of your pond. This will keep your ponds water temperature cooler and give your fish a shady place to rest.

How about the origins of public school in America? There are some really beautiful old photographs and woodcarvings, prints, paintings depicting the buildings that once supported the education our nations children.

Also, you could tell the class how school used to be optional, because families needed their children home to help with work.

You could discuss the discipline in the schools back then, where students could be whipped and slapped.

You can then briefly describe how the government stepped in and made public school mandatory for all children of certain ages, and those ages have changed a little since the law was written.

How did public school in America evolve along with the child labor laws?

You can pepper your slides with photos of children in factories during the industrial revolution, on farms, and in school houses.

When did one room school houses become the large public schools we have today?

What sort of training did teachers have to have back then?

Was the Bible and Christianity a mandatory subject?

My point is, there is a hord of photos on the internet to legally borrow since this is a school project, and tons of information about any sub topic of this general topic.

It can be used in a history class, an art class, an English class.

It would also help if you put forward some of your ideas so we could help you flesh 'em out. Try that tack first, then fish for other ideas.
