We won the pennant, fair and square!!!Get over it already. So what if you have hatred for Boston, go crawl back in your hole.

On another note...........Boston played a very good team in the Indians. They played hard and they have nothing to be embrassed about how they played. They are a good organization and ball club.

Pure jealousy! It is burning them big time, especially hating Yankee fans, to see us in the world series. Not to mention the few people who hate life and are miserable 24-7, so they have nothing better to do than to insult fans or the teams they follow, because their team always fails to accomplish anything.

Nobody's saying the Red Sox didn't win fair and square. Nobody's saying the Red Sox aren't an excellent team. It's just that most of the country does not live somewhere between New York and Boston and we're tired of hearing of nobody but the Yankees and Red Sox. My perfect Series would have been the Cubs and the Indians because it's been a jillion years since either team won one.

The Red Sox won the AL pennant!!! If you are a Red Sox fan, then good for you. Celebrate all you want. You also have the right to brag all you want. Any fan of any team knows that you have enough losing seasons to make it a real
smasher when your team wins.

They hate Boston as much as the Yankees.
One of the answers said everyone is sick of hearing about Boston and NY and I bet that is so...
as for the fans- I've taken the kids to watch a game on the Monster and the behavior of the fans was just as bad there as in the Bronx- seriously. My son a Mets fan was appalled at what some ADULTS were doing and saying to a child under the age of 10 in a yankee cap.
Now I've been at the games in NY too and don't get me wrong there are alot of idiots fans there too bothering the Boston fans but I've also had great conversations in both stadiums with the other teams fans.
It's one of the greatest rivalries in sports
Good luck to your team in the WS

Probably because their Fans are bigger Hot dogs then their players.I'm a Baseball Fan,no matter who's playing, but I get tired of hearing all the announcers, sports stations, arrogant Fans talk about how good the team is.Yes they are probably the Best team left, but let your play on the field show that not force feed all the hype to us.
I'm hoping for a Rocky Mountain High in the next 2 weeks.

They talk crap because they hate us. You'll just have to get used to it. The Red Sox are one of the most hated teams in baseball, and Sox fans are some of the most hated fans as well.

It's because a small minority of Red Sox fans are jerks. It's the same with every team, in every sport, but that minority gives the rest of us a bad name.

As long as you like the Red Sox, there will be people you never met or harmed in any way who hate you for it. You can count on that just as much as you can count on the sun coming up every morning. Just try not to let them bother you.

I look at it this way, if these people think which baseball team someone likes is enough information to hate them without knowing anything else about them, then their opinion probably isn't worth much anyway.

I should add that just like a small minority of Red Sox fans make the rest of us look bad, it's also a small minority of haters that make their fanbases look bad. Most Indians, Yankees, etc fans are fine.

I don't here anyone talk crap about them winning the thing is about that Mitchell who had a conflict of interest that doesn't affect the Win in my opinion, in fact I hardly think it's a story, but there was conflict of interest. I was saying that independently of the Red Sox win, because the Sox deserved to win that series the way they stepped it up.

Boston has a great roster and compare to Yankees they didn't buy their ways to win Champs.

I think why ppl hate Boston's team is because of their Fans, they are the craziest fans in many sports. They are so rude to other fans which make us hate their team.

And now they are attempting to win....errr.....BUY... their second World Series.

The only thing different between the Red Sox and the Yankees is the Red Sox can at least buy better talent.

Get ready to get thumped by a bunch of 20something nobodies!!

The Mitchell information is not helping the situation. It is making people wonder how fair and square it all really was.
