There is almost certainly there is alien life elsewhere other than Earth though we cannot say for definite yet. There is probably a huge amount of alien life right here in our own galaxy. Maybe there is no other life in our solar system, maybe this is the only inhabited world in this system, well so what. Ours is just one star, there are between 2- 400,000,000,000 in our galaxy alone! There's a fair chance that most could have planetary systems. Even if the chance of a world being in the right place and developing life is a tiny fraction of a percent, there could still be millions of worlds.
he Drake equation is how the chance of alien life is calculated. We don't have enough information yet to know for sure but when we find our first truly alien lifeform we will be able to make fairly accurate estimates about how much life is out there. There are also about 80 billion galaxies in the observable universe. The odds that we're alone are, with no pun intended - astronomical.
There's no reason to think aliens have ever visited our planet.

This is another stupidity generated by morons with no understanding of physics and astronomy.
If there were aliens, where did they come from? Another star system they say.
OK how did they get here? We are positive that nothing can be accelerated to the speed of light. So to get here from the closest star system that has planets (and we've found quite a few) then the aliens must have been travelling for over 10,000years.
Does that sound at all logical to you?
No civilization is going to expend a couple of years Gross Profit in sending a ship out into space for a 20,000 year round trip. The civilization would probably not even exist when the traveler returned.
The idea is ridiculous. The product of dysfunctional minds .

If you mean beings on another planet, there is a very good chance they exist. But there is also an even better chance that we will never know. These planets are just too far away from us. Just the light from other galaxies takes thousands, and even millions of years to reach us. E=mc2 tells us we can't even get near the speed of light in a space craft. So the chances of aliens on this planet are probably zero. Unless they know something we don't.

There's been hundreds upon thousands of alien sightings, whether most of them are true or not is difficult to decide upon
The asteroid ALH 84001, found in the Allan Hills in Antarctica is believed to have originated from Mars and contains what is thought to be Martian micro-organisms; these could be classed as Martians.
But my theory is this: with the sheer size of the Universe, the number of suns and planets out there, Earth can't possibly be the only one containing life, can it?

Please believe me, because it IS important, when I say that nobody knows if there are aliens or not. We have NO proof at all there are aliens. We also have NO proof that aliens do not exist. So anybody who answers either yes or no is totally wrong. The only correct answer is that we don't know. The only thing we can be sure of is that if there are aliens, they are not visiting Earth.

it is a mathematical certainty that life exists elsewhere in the universe, the same materials that exist on this planet exists on many other planets, the sheer volume of galaxies, stars, and planets assures that statiscally speaking we cannot be alone. whether or not we have been visited is another story.

yes there is a proof and there are many signs of them...at least that's how we predicted their planes which look plate-like.
