No one should have a stranger. A stranger is someone who you don't know, you just see him physicaly but you haven't dealt with him/her. So as far as a spouse is concerned, s/he is not a stranger but sometime s/he does some stuff that are strange which I never thought s/he would do to me or others. Things that just pop up from nowhere getting you off guard, weird indeed that are to strange to even believe them

Well, it's my b/f. And he's not a stranger. I couldn't love a stranger, though I know what you mean. I have had a relationship where I felt he was a 'stranger' at times. I had to get out because that part of him frightened me.

Yes, lately I am seeing a whole new him. I used to think he was the most honorable and honest person in the world, filled with morals, etc. I caught him having an affair. Never in a million years would i have dreamt that up, that he was capable of such deception. I have since caught him in lie after lie. The man I married no longer exists, or was he always like this and I was too blind to see it?

well.. not a stranger cos we share our lives and most of our thoughts ..besides the bath , bedroom, bed, etc.
And at times a stranger cos we may seem to disagree on few important things like related to kids or his parents..but the ratio is 90:10
and i feel ten percent we alkl are strangers even to our mom dad or ourselves!!!!!!!!

Nope, we chat often and I feel like most of the time we're on the same page... Sometimes one of us reads faster than the other, but we eventually get on the same page together. All it takes is open communication and respect.

Not::::::::::::::: He is the person I know the most in the whole world. You sleep, you work, you socialise together, you stuff up together, then stranger just isn't a word to use. :-)

Unfortunately, it's becoming more and more that way. I don't feel that she really listens and cares that much any more and I'm getting more and more cynical about the whole thing.
