No, I believe that intelligence is having the ability to know that there IS a problem.

Hello, G/morning to you, Loads of common sense will get you through life for you have the intelligents to solve all problems.It is better to have a full box of tools, to a box with an incomplete set.

I think it sure helps. However there are lots of non so high IQ classifications that have been an integral part of solutions.
Everybody can contribute something. :-) Some inventions have been just from perseverance and a hunch. Nothing Else. No Brainy Acts, just the thrist for the un-known. Hey!

...well, yes, to a point, if the problem requires a "great thinker" or philosopher educated in a chosen field...however, intelligence has it's own limitations as in the matters of the heart and soul...in these cases intelligence rides on the back of wisdom and compassion as well as integrity

No, some people can be intellegent and they have no street smarts and some can be street smart but cannot do complex thought patterns, thank god most of us ar in-between! I am living proof you can take a Mensa test and pass it and then forget everything you were taught because you got out of school too quickly. Maybe lack of oxygen, or injury, via accident or substance abuse...but its a use it or lose it world. :) Ok hun, take care.-Rachel.

yes intelligent persons are problem solver however if the problems can't be solve they will know that they can't which mean that might not know it all only god knows.

no i think it is being in control of ur life
knowing how to do what u need to do
solving problems like math isnt everything u have to know stuff about the real problems like how to fix ur car if it breaks down or how to get ur kid to stop cying stuff like that
