Any type of teabag will work. :) I did it before and, omg, the relief! You've got to use the teabag first to make some tea. The hot water stimulates the tea. Then, squeeze the excess water out and rest the teabag on your eye. It doesn't mater how long - I leave it on for half an hour - just as long as you feel the relief. PLEASE, don't forget to wash your eye after. You don't want to add germs with your sty. :D

Make sure you squeeze the tea bag out or you will burn your eye. There was an old wives tale about rubbing the sty with a 22carat gold wedding ring

Use Chamomile tea because it helps with inflammation and just use the "one" cup size. You can buy this tea at any grocery store "celestial seasons" etc...I would also suggest using "tea tree oil". They sell it at wal-mart in the vitamin section its a cure all oil and it would really help you. The smell is a bit strong, but the oil is fantastic for things like sty's.

any warm compress will do the trick. Not sure about the hot tea bag thing...that may actually hurt the eye more than just warm compress with a towel.

Man, there isn't enough tea bags in the World to make this mug beautiful. I'd look better wearing the Tea bags permanently.

It doesnt matter what kind of tea. What matters is the heat. A warmed up spoon will do the trick as welll..but be careful cause the metal will heat up fast.

It doesn't matter. It's the heat that'll rupture it. Ot, if you can stand it, rub real gold on it. I swear it works. It'll be gone within two days.
