The main Local Newspapers in London are:
1. The Evening Standard - an evening paper that everyone reads, every evening. Costs 50p. But very popular. Big circulation
2. The METRO - a free daily morning paper, and very popular. Big Circulation throught the whole of the country as well.
3. The Lite - another free paper similar to the Metro.

I hope this helps - good luck!

There's only one daily newspaper in London, the Evening Standard - all the other dailies are freesheets that can't be called newspapers with a straight face; not that the Standard is much better.
