Answer: The Iraq War is all about US government corruption and Congress's blindness to do anything about it. It is a story about government corruption at its highest levels and how these people manipulated the law and people to get away with murder. Was Saddam an ugly ogre or a threat to the world? The true answer is "no" as reflected by the US CIA in 1990! Did Saddam murder millions of his people and commit ugly atrocities like the use of chemical weapons on his own people?

Answer: Saddam did not kill millions of his own people and he did not gas millions. 13,000 were killed by chemical weapons, while the US government used Agent Orange on many more in Vietnam!

Truth: Saddam put down US government inspired rebellions in his country (such is illegal). It is our government that is the ugly ogre!

WE ARE THE EXPERTS

on the Iraq War as the first negotiators. Our position was not anti-bush it was for peace. What we saw was corruption and Congress refused to do anything. So I ask a question, where people are ignorant. And I post the answer, so all will know.

THIS QUESTION allows you input. My being open, I allow pro and con answers.

Bush and any future war Pres Giuliani or Clinton, who has no understanding should, also, face prosecution.

It takes citizen action to make Congress see, I suspect that they are caught up in their own agendas and can not see the truth from a lie.

So true. Bush is the true terrorist; sending our troops to fight an unwinable war. He should face the bad decisions he's made & take responsibility; Congress should investigate & indict him but the Republicans blindly back Bush & the Democrats are running scared.

You make it sound like since it was only 13,000 and not millions that it wasn't so bad. In one sentence you say Saddam put down US inspired rebellions in his country because they are illegal and imply that's OK because that was their policy. In the next you say that the American government is the ugly ogre. We don't put down rebellions here (usually, Vietnam told a different story, but still way better than what some other places have seen). In fact, freedom of speech, ideas and assembly have been a cornerstone of American ideals for 400+ years. We did not pioneer that idea, but we did improve it.

The Iraq War is all about US government corruption? So they got together and said "Hey guys, lets be corrupt for the next decade or so"? Or were their other concerns? Was all of the evidence on the table for all to see and examine, did a right answer exist? Did any solution result in everyone being happy, besides the obvious one, which never happens on account of human nature? Look through history, this was not the war that was waged for the least legitimate reasons. Alexander the Great, Napoleon and Hitler sought to conquer the known world for the sake of conquering the known world.

You say they just want to get away with murder; why? Why murder people you don't know that never did anything to you whose murder brings you nothing. I can't accept that people who work their whole lives in politics do it just to reach the top and murder innocent people. Think long and hard on that for some time and tell me if it makes sense. Does it? Or is it a simple way of labeling the enemy of a complex problem involving lots of people and variables?

There may be some truth in what you are saying, however until, and unless we have access to all of the facts, we will only know what the government wants us to know, and that is the party line, as they wish it to be.

i'm not sure you understand what Yahoo! Answers is all about. you ask a question (generally one at a time) and WE answer. instead you've decided to answer for us. maybe you should think about making a blog. but that's for another time and place. not here. this is now a three or four page diatribe you have going on and it violates yahoo community guidlines.

i might even agree with some of what you say, but certainly not all. but you don't even ask for my perspective. why not?

oh yeah. i seriously question your credentials, lester.
