When babies do sleep, they have a sort of a deep sleep even if it is for a little while. It is not the quanity of their sleep (in hours) but the quality of their sleep. Someone can get two hours of sleep and feel refreshed if it was a full quality sleep verses someone who tossed and turned all night and got 8 hours worth of sleep.

Simply because when they wake up they do nothing but cry for help and food, and those ever sleeping babies will never give you enough time to show them all your for them the best way you want.

because of the fact they're very problematic to evoke. besides the shown fact that long they sleep for, they sleep soundly and peacefully. in case you basically sleep for 2 hours yet sleep very deeply and peacefully, then you definately've slept like slightly one.

once the baby is in a routine, they usually sleep well, without the fitful dreams , that we have.
they don't have to get up to go to the washroom

Yeah, but when they DO sleep, they REALLY sleep. No tossing and turning and laying half awake like older people. They're really comatose.
