It depends where you go and what kind of work you are going to do - there are a lot of variables.

Cons - loneliness, culture shock, homesickness, possible illnes from food that you are not accustomed to

Pros - Usually better pay, sometimes free housing and other benefits, oppportunity to travel, opportunity to learn a foreign language, be exposed to another culture, and expand your horizons
