1) what does wireless adsl 2/2+ router mean? the 2+ sign especially..
2) most wireless connection speed is either 54mbps or 108mbps,right? does the type of router(wired or wireless) matter in this case?or if i get any router which says downloading speed is 54mbps,i'm going to get 54mbps
3) does the operating system also matter?(i'm using windows xp service pack 2)

5)if it's just for the purpose of using a router at home,wanting to download movies,etc faster,what router reccomendation would be good?
6) which is better? router+modem or router and modem separated?

i know im asking alot of questions,some of them prolly stupid but i really need some help..
