Score the edge of the glass where it meets the frame with a razor blade so that way you don't lift off any piant then just peel off the tape. Painters tape has a low adhesive rate so it'll peel easily. any residue can be scraped with a razor blade and some glass cleaner. It only takes a few minutes per panal.

There is a special scraper for glass. it has a straight razor blade that slides out one end. Go to your hardware store and ask for the razor blade style glass scraper.

Now tilt the scraper on a 45 deg, angel, andturn the blade on a slight angle to the edge of the tape. The blade will scrape the tape off the glass. Once you have it all off, wash the gals with a good glass cleaner to remove any glue residue.

Try a wet razor blade! maybe with some goo gone or baby oil.

I have done it and it works! goo gone is the best because it will help remove the sticky underlayer from the tape!
