Mercury:
_______

Surface Temperature = Minus 292 Degrees F
to
Plus 806 Degrees F

Surface composition rocky, cratered, crusty surface.
Silicate rock on surface of a solid mantle about 340 Miles
thick. Large iron core which has cooled off greatly in the last billion years or so.

Atmosphere is very thin and consists of sodium and helium gases. Little or no oxygen and carbon dioxide. No moons.

Distance from Sun = 36,000,000 Miles (so it is exposed to the full intensity of the Sun's rays and is "very" hot in the day,
and "very" cold at night. The days and nights are very long
because the planet spins very slowly.

One year on Mercury is 88 Earth Days.

One day on Mercury is 59 Earth Days.
