If you have no money, then you don't get christmas. People will understand that you can't afford presents etc. They would much rather see you turn your life around rather than get yourself further in to debt just to buy them a present that they'll use for ten minutes.

You need to ask yourself some serious questions:
1. How am I going to pay back the loan? If you are unemployed it will be a struggle.
2. Why do I need a loan? If it is to indulge over Christmas then you need to consider is that a wise thing to do.

A loan will put you in a position where you will have to pay off for the whole of next year what you spend in a couple of weeks up to Christmas.
This means that most companies will be very reluctant to lend to you.
The first step is to find some employment before you even think about taking out a loan.

Don`t get a loan, you are just asking for trouble. What happens next Christmas when you have still got payments to make on the last loan.
Why don`t you ring round local high street shops and apply for work over the Christmas period or restaurants and hotels who need waiting on staff for all the Christmas parties. I`ve seen loads of ads in my local paper recently. You could work a few evenings surely, even if you have kids don`t you have family or friends who could help you with a bit of babysitting. Is there a good reason why you can`t work? I always did when my kids were little and i was a single parent.

You'll find it very hard unless you go to one of these high interest organisations that always advertise on tv.
