What are they - Quite simple.

A slice of toast, cut into strips just the right size to dip into the yolk of a boiled egg.

They are called that in most of the UK

They are toasted bread cut into thin slices for dookin in you're soft boiled egg.........................

I live in scotland,Glasgow we always called them that.........!!!
