the more I am convinced the Ocean Club Manager is an accesory to Madeleines' abduction?

1) He is involved in room allocations.
2) He knows who is expected to arrive at the Ocean Club, weeks in advance. He will know, party size and child ages.
3) He is local
4) He can watch peoples movements & activities, & know when they are in and out of their room with Electronic Key Swipe Cards.
5) He said he had called the police but HAD NOT.
6) He took 50 minutes to call the police after the alarm was raised by Kate McCann
7) His DNA is all over the Ocean Club resort and would have been discovered in room 5a if the Police & HE had not agreed the room could be re-let & if the Police had not been smoking and using Mobiles in there during the forensics search.
8) Why doesn't he let anyone but guests into the building these days?

Finally - WHO IS HE - What does he look like? Has he been interrogated?

What do y'all think?

PS: Not letting NON residents into hotel complexes is odd. ALL med resorts encourage other people in to use their facilities, share the entertainment and spend money there. Even the most luxury resorts. I know. I have travelled extensively throughout Europe.

Stormy. No, not always.
Sometimes.

However, What do you think of my theory?

Thanks Charley.

The longer this goes on, the more thought I put into it. This manager man has been bugging me for some time.

It's all too easy for him to be involved.

Snaffle.
My facts are indeed facts.
Ever worked in a hotel? I have. The Hilton on Park Lane, and they know everything about who is coming in and out of their building. Its all on the computers. Names, ages, home addresses, email addresses.. you name it, they know it.

SO.. Snaf, my theory. Don't you like it?

Veneno. I assume you did not work on the Front of House in your hotel? Where did you work? Housekeeping, Catering, conferencing? What sort of keys did you use to enter rooms? A metal one or a card swipe? Why would a possible paedo be worried about the Ocean Clubs business? He just works there, he doesn't own it? Why was he interested in Madeleine? Who knows? Who knows why perverts exist and how they choose a victim? Not me..and aslo, why do you think this man, could not be involved. All the clues & facts are there. Everyone knows the police records show they were called at 22.51hrs

Michelle S. Please think before you answer. The man has a computer at his desk which records movement of those electronic key swipes. Also, people ask at reception about things to do.. where to eat.. whats good around the place. He came into contact with the McCanns during their week there and also, KNEW they were coming out to Portugal the day they booked up.

JOHN HILL , the Ocean Club manager, said the alarm was raised by the family between 10pm and 10.15pm: “The staff, many guests and the best part of the village started looking right away, a total of 40 to 65 people. The police were called and started taking details from the family and then took the decision to escalate the search.”

NO MENTION OF CALLING THE POLICE!

Father Keith Tomlinson, the priest who baptised the twins a year ago at the Sacred Heart church in Rothley, the family’s church.

THE PRIEST IS NOT PORTUGUESE OR BASED THERE . Contrary to some slanderous answer below.

ADAM.
How do you know the McCanns were "advised" to use the babysitting service? I think you will find it was an option , and available if they wanted it. I am sure that nobody who works at the resort knocked on apartment 5A at 6.30pm and said "you know what, I advise you to have a babysitter"... SO?

I have also worked in hotels and in various positions, and I never knew if the guest where inside the rooms or not. (4)

WHY would he do something like that? All this is damaging the business a lot.

Why would he have in interest in Maddie? They were plenty of children staying in the resort.

You also say that he said he had called the police but he didnt, I tried to find something about this but couldnt find it, LINK?

Another thing, it would have been EASY for ANYONE to get in the apartment and take madeleine, anyone. It had access to public roads.

I think your facts have no relevance. But good try anyway.

EDIT: I worked on administrative areas, but since I had to know how everything worked I pass through all the areas, I also worked at the Front desk (we call it), and yes in all the hotels that I´ve been, we had swipe cards.
Anyway, the manager couldnt have been sure if the children were alone, even if he saw the when they went out.
If you havent read, Kate said that the police had been called, so why would he call again?

I thought the same thing originally! It is a CLOSED RESORT; I went with my kids to one of them over the summer just for that reason. No one can enter the resort without going right by the front desk and they will stop you and ask for something to prove you are supposed to be there and aren't an intruder, so I figure with the case it would be one of the staff; they can enter and leave easily, and no one would question the manager. The McCanns would have been seen were they to exit the resort to get rid of Madeleine's body, and that would arouse suspicion.

Some detective you are, you don't even know his name and you are accusing him! I did my research and I do know his name but I am sure the hell not going to participate in this ridiculous slander of him!

And it was 30-45 minutes, not 50 minutes between the time Maddie was found missing and the call to the police.

It was the family that called police, NOT THE MANAGER...which is quite what you would expect.

Are you sure it wasn't the preist who baptised the twins a year ago? You better check him out Super Sleuth!

Arpart from the fact of what holiday resort management in their right minds are going to deliberately make their resort look unsafe by getting involved in child abductions.

Why then did the Club Management advise the McCanns and their friends to use babysitters (which they declined to do) if the Club Management were involved.

Nice distraction but the fact is it was the McCanns and their friends who deliberately chose to leave their children on their own, and it is Kate and Gerry who have acted so suspiciously afterwards.

Mary Mary, an outstanding question. I have to confess that i hadn't considered this guy. I shake your hand in admiration.
If he had not called the police for 50 minutes and lied about doing so....well my alarm bells are just ringing loud!!

I still hold the opninion that Madeleine has been abducted. Have the police even considered this man as a suspect? I believe that they have little experience of child abduction, this explains their failings early on.

I am quietly hoping that they are "watching" some of the individuals to see what they do. Either that or they actually believe that Kate and Gerry really are to blame for it.

But, well done on the question.

I've often wondered if the pp have looked at the hotel staff - they would be best placed to know when and in which apartments children had been left alone. I assume the staff have been questioned and, as with everything else, the information is strictly off limits.

it's a possiblity, my husband said from the start that a member of staff is involved as they know the mccanns routine better than anyone.

you have just done the very thing that you said in a previous post you would not do.

today alone the pro's have finger pointed at murat and now the manager of the hotel! its the very thing that you ridicule the anti's for doing towards the mccanns.
no wonder some of us are confused as to who has the best argument both groups are as bad as each other clutching at straws and making up wild theories instead of waiting for the truth.
