We have experienced this and my parents before me did. I know you can find and make everlasting friends when away from home but go away with friends and it`s not always a bed of roses. What do you think. Is it just us?

If you have quite a bit in common it could be a great holiday but if you go with friends who are a little opposite or have a bad habit it could be a disaster for sure.

Yes, I have friends who went on holiday together and now they've pretty much all gone their own way. I think only two of them are still talking. And this was only last year.

I think it depends how close you are and how long you've known each other. If your almost like family with the friends, any fall outs you may have can be forgotten pretty easily.

It can be bad, you need to make sure that you both want the same thing out of the holiday.

A friend during adversity is a true one. But, no matter what the circumstances are..we don`t have to say goodbye to a friend just because he/she did not meet our expectations.

Yes very true...I've had that happen before and it was just sad. Thankfully we've all made up these days but it's not the same as it was before.

I travelled with a friend and we fell out. We were then friends again and fell out and were friends again and fell out. The moral of the story is, I dumped that friend for life as they weren't a friend.

yes, when spending so much time together in a foreign place, you see your differences highlighted right before you, you see what you don't like about how they like things, and it makes you see a different friend.

Being in a foreign place means you act more yourself and not how you would in your home country, different places means different behaviour in a strange but true way.........
