They're not...The Pats are gonna win this time...No question about it...The Pats schedule is not any easier than the Colts schedule...Thats idiotic...Colts fans are worried that Tom Brady is actually every bit as good and better than Peyton Manning...

First off, equality doesn't really count in the NFL. You could be fairly equal to another team and loose by 30 points. That's just how the game works out some times.
You also can't judge two teams equal until you see the matchup on the field and even then there will still be room for error. The Pats and Colts are the only 2 undefeated teams remaining in the NFL so it only makes sense that most consider them fairly equal. It's foolish to use final scores or game stats as the reasoning for rating one team above the other. To say Brady has 27 TDs and Manning only has 14 means Brady must be twice as good is equally foolish. Stats alone do not tell the story, they never have, they never will.
The first half of the NFL is only a tune up for the contenders. The second half will start to seperate the good teams from the bad. Every year we see a team get beat during the regular season only to turn around and beat that same team in the playoffs.
Each game is unique and often decided by a single play or two. Don't get caught up in the Colts/Patriots final score because you can bet they will play twice this year and the second game will be for all the marbles (AFC Champs) and folks wont even remember the score of the regular season matchup.

Not a fan of either team.
But Pats have played a weaker schedule in a weaker division. Opponents have a combined losing record by negative 11 games.
Colts opponents have a winning record by plus 4 games.
Not saying that the Pats will not beat the Colts - but it's why they PLAY the game, and not phone it in.
I remember 2 weeks ago when the Cowboys were going to absolutely kill the Bills. And they squeeked out with their tail between their legs.
HERE IS HOW THEY ARE EQUAL:
Either team lose their QB to an injury, and they are a totally different team.

The Patriots may have not had many games against "great" teams but they did beat and UNDEFEATED Dallas team that IMO was, and still is far better than any team that the Colts have played thus far this season. Come November 4th Tom Brady and his Patriots are going to DESTROY Peyton Manning and the Colts. There is no way in hell that Inianapolis wins this one, hell they barely pulled it off when Brady had nobody to throw to. It's over before it's even begun, Patriots 48 - Colts 20

Are you trying to compare the Jags with Phins? Don't be silly. The Jaguars have a better defense than all the teams the Pats have faced. And the Colts scored 29 points against them.
The Colts won a couple by less than a TD, 30-24 vs Houston and 22-20 vs Tennessee. It looks that they suffered to win those, but the reality is that both teams scored when it didn't matter and the game was almost decided.
At the end, they are not that different statistically.
This is why I think they are similar:
First, both are undefeated. Also...
Offense:
Colts 399.7 yd/g (3rd)
Pats 432.9 yd/g (1st)
Colts 32.3 pt/g (3rd)
Pats 39.9 pt/g (1st)
Defense:
Colts 269.5 yd/g (3rd)
Pats 274.9 yd/g (4th)
Colts 15.8 pt/g (6th)
Pats 17.1 pt/g (10th)
Offensively the Pats are slightly better, and defensively the Colts are slightly better.

Well let's see the Colts have played REAL TEAMS maybe? Name 2 real teams the Patriots have played so far. I give you Dallas. Then look how Cleveland held their own against New England. Are you going to say that the Browns are elite team now or something? They are getting better, but they sure aren't great. The Colts have been playing Good teams and WINNING ON THE ROAD.

There is no way to prove one team is better than the other until they play each other. Until then, quit trash talking like a 12 yr old. Keep in mind that November doesn't mean as much as January and February, because the best regular season team doesn't always win the Superbowl.

they are not the colts are better just watching them last night gave me the feeling they can beat anybody, the jags are a real good team and i think they will be in the mix at the end as well, i just dont see anybody being able to shut down the colts offense and their defense looks good as well, while n.e. has steadily been giving up more and more points each game the colts have been giving up less each game to better opponents so it will be a good game but i think the colts will come out on top

No. Unlike the Patriots the Colts will actually get tested by divisional foes. The Patriots could wrap up their division by week 10. How sad is that?

Because they are both undefeated. That is all that matters in NFL. The record is the only important statistic! It's not like college football, where they take into accound who they played and how bad they beat them. What matters is how high the number is in the loss column. And right now, THEY ARE EQUAL!! The only thing that their matchup in two weeks will determine is who gets homefield in the rematch for the AFC championship!
