i am going to switch my BC pill and I was just wondering if there was one that I could give as a shot to myself. Needles don't scare me. OR what BC pills do you take?do you like it?

-Also I have endometriosis so i can not take those low dosage BC.

As others mentioned, the only one I know of is the depo shot. Never been on it myself and everyone is different but the 3-4 ppl I know you had been on it hated it. I have endo and take the generic form of Loestrin 24 FE. I'm not sure what you mean by "low dosage?" If you have endo you should be on a bc pill that is low in estrogen as it is estrogen that fuels the endo. Also, you should try to take one that is considered "monophasic," especially if you want to take it continuously so to not have a period. Hope you find something that works!

you could no longer get a hysterectomy except it somewhat is medically mandatory. on account which you basically think of you don't greater infants then await everlasting stuff. as for temporary i might say pills or condoms are your suitable wager. IUDs have many downfalls and crappy side outcomes and can especially circumstances be painful. the shot can even have some incredibly stressful side outcomes which you're caught with for 6 mos once you have the shot.

There is depo provera, which I would NEVER ever recommend to anyone because of its serious health risks to a majority of women who are on the shot.

I have been on Kariva for 1 1/2 years and am side affect FREE and a lot happier than I was on depo!

the only shot i know of is the depo shot and its given every 3 months by ur Dr. or a nurse/ i used this for 5 years and i loved it, i had no periods and felt great. some people have bad side effects like weight gain, some hair loss, and longer periods but you don't know how it will effect you til you try it. good luck....

go see your gynie or gp. i use implanon, which is an implant that goes into my upper arm, and lasts for 3 years. i've have little or no side effects (best of all, no periods for over 6 months!)

There's also now hormonal iuds which last for 5 years and rely on the hormone rather than the iud. Go to your local Family Planning or Women's Health Clinic... or your gynie. There's heaps of solutions.

Have an appointment with your gynecologist. He/she will recommend or administer the proper BC for you.
