Not as much as I used to. My wife is from the Philippines. When we first married she didn't cook at all. I had some dishes I was famous for. What I knew how to cook , I cooked well, but most things I didn't have a clue.
Well my wife learned what I knew and slowly bypassed me. Thanksgiving and Christmas were traditionally mine as well. As years passed so did that. Now I only do what I am asked, when I am asked, otherwise , I would be invading her domain.

My husband loves to help in the kitchen! Many times after meals he'll get up and start cleaning up, without being asked. My kids help out too, but not always so willingly!

I sure do, b/c she works and I understand when she's tired and plus I like to cook anyway. But I do what I can to help out around the kitchen...or around the house for that matter since we both work. It's only fair...

What an old question .. of course I do and and it is about the third time I have answered this question on YA.
We are a family of four and all of us.. do our share.. and that goes for my two kids as well, though they are in their third decade of life... but like my father.. I taught them the same. OK

I do if he asks as it's not a big kitchen and I just get in the way.

From time to time my oldest daughter and I get together in the kitchen; only it's more for chit chatting than anything; she likes to prove herself, so I give her free rein.
