It's a knee-jerk reaction...Let's face it, nobody alive to this day knows anything about Adolf and his early life growing up. That didn't make news. Usually, the only thing that makes news is bad news. Most of us grew up seeing the atrocities of the third reich. We've seen the heart ache of innocent people being slaughtered simply because they were Jewish.
The same thing goes for Charles Manson and his gang. Nobody knows what he was like as a child, he was probably like a lot of other kids but somewhere down the line he took a seriously bad turn. If you were to start out saying you admired manson you would get the same reaction. What both had done is unspeakable, most people can't see past that, most don't want to see past that.
Both Adolf and Manson must have had something about them that made others want to follow them; it's too bad that they took the paths they did but history will always remember them both as madmen. One other thing they both had in common was that they were sick. I believe both were mentally ill and I doubt anyone would argue that.
There have been others down through history, some made bigger headlines than others, Ted Bundy for instance...Whenever anyone says they admire one of these people it is going to cause others to recoil because of all the pain these individuals caused others. Just the mention of their names is synonymous with pain.
It's good that you can draw any morsel of good out of any situation but when it comes to dealing with some situations it's better to use wisdom. Never light dynamite that has a short fuse. Hitler, Manson, and others like him will always evoke hurt and anger for all the senseless, brutal things they had done.

He was the greatest criminal of the 20th or of any century.
For all of his so-called intellect and education and skill for speechmaking as an inspiring leader, he was evil, pure and simple.
Do not admire the man for these traits. He deserves no admiration.
The fact of his intelligence and education should, in fact, inspire even more disgust in you than otherwise. We do not judge Genghis Khan too harshly because he acted as a brutal leader from the steppes of a brutal Mongolia during a particularly brutal part of history.
Hitler was the monster that he was, and his monstrous evil grew in the most civilized nation on Earth, the nation of great scientists, artists, composers, and leaders.
Admiration is the wrong sentiment. The correct sentiment is disgust, that a man so intelligent and well educated could be so foul, bringing the depths of humanity to as-yet unseen lows.

I have always felt that no human is all good or all bad, and although Hitler probably comes as close to the latter as any soul, it is likely he had some good qualities, if no more than to rise to such revolting power. But when you look at what he he used his abilities to achieve, I feel it impossible to look to the positive when he choose to use those abilities to direct the worst heinous montrosities against humanity in the history of the world.
But I DO believe there are a great many lesson that could positively benefit others from studying him. Youth should learn to never blindly trust without learning their truth, nor blindly and ignorantly hate. Civilization should learn that evil should never be given power, and that turning away from something unpleasant is a form of giving power. There are great lessons in what can happen when someone takes all their power and drive and directs it towards evil and destruction. Imagine if Hitler took his abilities and did good with them. And on and on.
But what I can never do is give that madman credit in any way. Sorry, but to me a person who set out to destroy so many millions of innocent lives can never be worthy of that. And IMHO a person who achieved nothing positive or benefitting mankind, and who only caused destruction & suffering, should ever be admired. But lessons should definately be learned and hopefully they will be.
There are a great many worthy leaders in this world to admire, who not only have all of what you would deem Hitler's good qualities, but mercifully lack all of his evil actions. To me it would make far more sense to admire any of those, if it is actually the good you are admiring.

properly, apart from being to blame for genocide you could no longer probable admire a guy for passing an on the spot 'loss of existence' sentence on some 40 3,000 prisoners in retaliation for the Sobibor harm-out. you're able to desire to look closer at what you your self reported, you do no longer help what Hitler did to the Jews, so how are you able to admire him? in case you realize that hundreds of hundreds of guys, women persons and childrens have been shot lifeless to be dropped in open graves around Europe and entire households have been despatched right into a gas chamber you may could quit questioning of Hitler to be well-known. Hitler had particularly some capacity, this is right, yet ask your self via what skill? enable us to set an occasion, you're actually not a Jew, yet you're a political opponent of the Nazi occasion. needless to say, you're able to desire to be re-knowledgeable, so what we can do is deliver over the Police to arrest you and take you right into a make-shift police station to beat you to a pulp. (Brown shirts for a on a similar time as had Police capacity) You proceed to exist the ordeal yet you could under no circumstances artwork returned, so now, the kin will starve because of the fact the guy of the living house won't be able to artwork. So human beings will argue, properly, there develop into no artwork besides, appropriate. however the catch is, human beings survived on donations and help enterprises plus the actual shown fact which you are going to have gained a small income from welfare, no longer a lot yet sufficient to purchase the staple - kilo of bread and a few greater's. on account which you probably did no longer understand the ideology of Nazi concept and practices, we can now decrease-off your welfare, after all, in case you oppose the Nazis it somewhat is concept you will no longer choose the welfare the two, or might you? Now you realize how Hitler grew to develop into powerful.

You are a very open minded individual. You have now learned an important lesson. Namely, that people in general are closed-minded. Once they have been "programmed" to believe something (i.e. that Hitler was all-around terrible with NO redeeming qualities whatsoever), they will never, ever, change their minds.
Figure out how you can best "program" others and their beliefs. Then, you too will rise to the heights of power, with an army of automatons to do your bidding. Hey, worked for the church!

They probably worry about the sanity of someone that admires Adolf Hitler. Many of us had a rough life and we don't kill people. Admire and Adolf Hitler don't go together.

Now, you ought to know when you say things like that, that people will assume you are a racist. Obviously you aren't dumb, so why say things that you know will put people on the defense?
