Why do you go for celeron?
Go for Core2Duo with 1GB RAM if you
want full Vista Experience.

Acer + Celeron + Vista = BAD

I suggest for you to go for Dell or HP, just avoid Acer or celeron...
1GB to 2GB RAM is better with duo core proccesors.
80GB to 160GB hard is ok (depends on your purpose)

If you have some extra cash, go for a MacBook. :D

It completely depends on what you plan on using the laptop for.

That said, a celeron cpu and only 512MB is not the spec you want to be running Vista on, I would avoid.

Dont even go that route, Vista running on this laptop will be painful.

If you mut have Vista, then you need more memory, 1GB to 2GB, if you really want Vista that bad, choose one also with Core2 processor, but in my honest opinion, choose XP instead of Vista
