If you do not clean your computer keyboard regularly you have the equvilent of the germs on 589 toilets presently on your keyboard.. The number triples if you eat, sneeze and cough or do NOT wash your hands after using the bathroom or you share a computer with others that do not have proper hygene... How does that sound? Good luck

Basic cleaning needs to be done on a regular basis. Not something you do once a year. In the fridge you can grow germs that will either make you sick or actually kill you.
It is also for your self esteem. Surely you want friends over and enjoy your home. Cleaning is not so hard if you do it regually and often. Try flylady.com.

Well if you don't clean you can get bed bugs -- they will suck your blood at night when you sleep but if you wake up with one stuck on your neck you will clean!!

ever see a carpet bettle? do a search on there larva -- if you leave pile of clothings on the floor these guys will start to eat holes inyour clothing as well as look nasty the bad part is they blend in nicely so if you just reach down to "Toss somthing on" you could have a carpet betle on your skin right now!
GROSS

you won't get mold in most places unless kept damp!

or if you don't pick up food you will get bugs and mold can grow on stall old food and if the vents are near it you can breath it in and it's not like black mold but it's still is far from healthy..

every get the dry nose? where what ever you do it seems like it's too dry -- i would take up dusting that means your nose is full of dust and it can't protect you from the real harmfull germs leaving you open to get sick...

Mice- ever had them -- well i'm not sure if they go to clean or dirty houses where ever there is food! but those poops they leave behind are nasty i mean would you lay your stuff on a pile of poo? yucky!

i really don't know what else to say !
i have a family memeber with 2 children and they are always sick yet they let their animals pee inthe house that's how lazy they are so i'm sur3e there is more then what i see! I can't go over there!

me i'm not the cleanest i have learned from experince most of the above! now that i have my house it's clean not like photo clean but it's clean!
after looking at my familys kids and seeing how sick they are i started to clean!

I have been to WAY too many houses where there are clothes, toys, and books everywhere, unwashed dishes piled high in the sink, and bits of food everywhere. I literally have to wade through the wreck. Not only does a clean house leave a good impression, it is MUCH more sanitary to live in!

Here's something gross for you:

You shed approximately 100,000 skin cells every night. That should motivate you to wash your bedding. Often.

You know how fluffy your pillow is when you first buy it? Then over time it isn't as fluffy? It almost gets flat? Well, that's dust mites and their feces weighing it down. I wash my pillows probably more often than they need be, but that tidbit alone grosses me out.

Your bed is the dustiest spot in the house. Vacuum your mattress and boxspring. Monthly if you can.
