In the two educational institutions that I studied in I had 3 principals (or headmistresses). Two of them were strict but I got along with them quite well. I'd say they were better in a way that they were keen to keep the student body informed, which I don't feel Dumbledore is. My opinion.

no, he wasn't. he was worse than umbridge. my new one's only slightly better.
