As a child I lived every Now. As a parent I want my children to keep their eyes on the future, taking lessons from the past, while executing the plans every Now. For actions to be effective all focus of attention, experience, strength and wisdom have to go into those actions. In the slavery of clock-time we should not forget or shun life as it unfolds every Now. In simple words, I just like to enjoy and realize the freedom of doing my best every Now.

I cherish every single instant of my life. Of course, I have immense plans for the future, but this does not prevent me from living it large, man! Some people keep on brooding over the past while some are already living in 2010. That's why some things in life just keep happening and we have our attention somewhere else. The present time is the very foundation of your future building. Ambition is a great thing for someone!

One of the major problems with human beings is their desire to control the future, but that is what the price we pay for being so intelligent... highly intelligent being can not live merely in the present without at all times having an eye on the future.

OK skycat you know this is something im trying to work on,,,and it is (trying) because we have to really work on this living in the moment business we have to stop (pause) look around take it in: most of the time were so busy and time goes so fast it's hard to make that effort: but today im going to the library to get "the power of now" the book you requested so that hopefully helps!
