I have got married last year according to the Hindu marriage act. Now my wife is not ready to reconcile or not ready to give me divorce. I have been forcing her for divorce, but she was always ready for reconciliation. But recently she changed the mood and stating that she will not leave me and not reconcile with me. I cannot understand if there is any special strategy from her side or just she is playing with me. In front of court she is always ready for reconciliation but behind the court she threatening me that she will not give me divorce and nor reconcile. Please suggest me which step I can take to deal with her. I will never reconcile, I seriously want divorce.

Increase the settlement amount for divorce. What I can tell you is the amount you offered should have two more zeros in the end & divided by 2. Offer her this amount & get divorce.

The important question here is why should you want a divorce? Conceded that there are differences between you, your wife initially wanted a reconciliation. You have stated that yourself. But for some reason you stubbornly decided to go for divorce without heeding her invitation to reconcile. I think it serves you well that you have landed yourself in a soup. Marriage is not child's play that you marry today and separate tomorrow as you wish.
Anyway, as you are dead serious about divorce, better prepare to spend big bucks so as to make her agree. There is no knowing as to how much she might settle for. Try your best to make the amount agreeable to her.
