had abnormal cells cin 2 and had colposcopy and biopsy and loop treatment to remove all problem area
that was 12 days ago and still got bloody discharge though nothing too heavy
is this normal

Yes, you'll have this for weeks. Eventually it will go as you heal inside. Good luck. x

Yes, I had all that, years ago and have been having clear smears since. Don't worry too much. They have to get rid of the abnormal cells and surrounding area which can leave you with a reddish dicharge for a few weeks.

Yes, unfortunately this could last up from 4-6 weeks just about like having a child, however, it may not take that long....your insides so to speak have to have time to heal. This is a very extensive procedure really as that tissue is very friable. Just do not use tampons during this time .........or anything scented....it could cause a reaction.

i bled for 3 weeks after having colposcopy and loop treatment,however if you are worried just ring up the hosp that did the procedure and talk to them,i worried but was reassured that it was normal.

Try not to worry my dear. This is normal. IF you do have any real concerns then give the colposcopy clinic a ring or speak to your GP x

Yes, this can be normal after a procedure but I would recommend checking with your doctor as well to see what they say.

hi hunny. am afraid it is normal. every ones reaction is different,but i had it for over 2 weeks. i had my 2nd colcoscopy on Friday just gone. so know exactly how you feel. should get my results soon i hope. am crossing fingers i don't have to have another. take care hunny. warmest regards xxxx
