You can only have 8 Sims in total in your family so if you have 6 Sims, you can only have 2 babies. (unless a sim moves out)

Yes you can have a lot of babies in the Sims 2, especially if you use the cheats. You can have many many babies.

in case you like enjoying very final delusion, you could call a number of your sim's after a number of the characters which you like because of the fact the Sims 2 is a very relaxing sport. in case you could, wait till subsequent 300 and sixty 5 days while Sim's 3 would be released on account that that sport would be an exceedingly good sport would be released and that i'm annoying for the sport to come returned out.

Yeh have as many as you want, well up to the limit! Just keep at it with your two sims, don't forget, if you want more fun maybe have twins.
To up the chances of twins make your female sim eat 'cheesecake' while pregnant. Then with the pregnant sim selected use the cheat code: forcetwins (CTRL+shift+C).
Apprently this only works though if you have Open For Business installed, i'm in the process of testing it!
So bit of an extended answer there lol but have fun :)

You can have tons of babies, but there is a limit to the number of people who are allowed to live in one house at one time. I think you can't have more than 8 or 10 at a time.
