The whole panel agreed that the interview wasn't about "looking for" Madeleine, but more an excercise in damage limitation for the McCanns. They also agreed that the interview wasn't given voluntarily, more like they had been asked to do it for PR. They weren't comfortable doing it Their body language spoke volumes as this is a "normal" couple not used to controlling their emotions. When Brian ran his fingers over his throat it gave me a chill. The experts also believed that their relation with Gerry is not as fantastic as people would have us believe. They both said that they had been in Madeleines bedroom since May 3rd and it was Very painful. Then Susan said that she "imagines" that Kate does the same although she has not seen her do it. All the experts agreed that Kate has a serious personality disorder and psychiatric problems, the daytime haucinations were a manifestation of this. well I can't remember anymore. What do you all think?

I also saw this documentary, and Faith it wasn't running his fingers over his throat, it was literally one finger across his neck like cutting his throat, it was horrible and chilling, really wish they would put this interview on British TV so you could all see the gestures... I would love to know what G and K thought of this interview.....

I agree with the panel. The whole exercise HAS been about Damage Limitation and never been about searching for Madeleine. I believe the McCanns know that she isn't coming back.

I easily have not concept what bats_fanfilm is even speaking approximately. Does this guy or woman comprehend that atheism isn't in line with info? Atheism is in line with a loss of perception. info could help the atheist's loss of perception, or grow to be an option to the God concept (it relatively is purely a concept, BTW). So, atheism isn't blind faith. Atheism is not any faith, it relatively is a loss of. Get out the dictionary bats. I easily have study some Richard Dawkins, and that i do discover his artwork compelling. regardless of the undeniable fact that, it relatively is in basic terms supportive strategies concerning to my loss of religion/perception that a God exists. despite in the event that they proved incorrect each and every thing that he ever stated, i could nonetheless no longer have faith/perception in God.

Too many assumptions. You're looking at it from a closed mind. Kate wasn't ont he show so how could they possibly diagnose her? Many grieving people see hallucinations, have dreams, etc. That is totally normal - it means the child is on her mind every minute. How on earth could they judge their marriage - although I woulnd't be surprised if it isn't under strain. Many marriages break up after an episode like this. Even poor little Sarah Payne's parents split up. That is not an indication of guilt - rather the fact that they can't come to terms with the grief.
I didn't see the programme, and I'm quite glad I didn't. It sounds awful, horrible to see such distress. And even worse when it leads to more speculation.

This prog sounds very interesting. It seems that the panel have the McCanns and co. summed up.I wonder what those close to the McCanns.... parents, friends, lawyers, PR's really think of them ? It totally amazes me that as time goes on and given the continuing strange behaviour of the Mcs that there is anyone left who supports them. I just hope that the re interviewing of the friends throws more light on this bizarre case.
Edit I think I have missed part 3 of your question : (

That was very interesting to read. It is in my opinion not bias.
I can see there are a few doubting people on here.
I myself keep an open mind.It is a pity we do not have a link, so that we can form our own conclusions.
Well done for pointing it out

trancebabe i appreciate all the effort youve put into relaying this program to us....as to what i think.....firstly....yes i think its heartbreaking for the grandparents....secondly....its another 'odd' event in this whole saga.....to bring out these dignified people who are desperately trying to cope with an unimaginable grief , and have them show this grief to an audience....whose idea was all this....what was the overall point of the program....was it Mccann propaganda or an objective overview of the people effected by this tragedy....i'm not really getting it.....

Skidoo says it well...
Transbabe, this is a really very one sided view of the situation. Wouldn't like to drone on as well but would just like highlight this :

Seeing Brian running his fingers over this throat gives you chills...you obviously read something really sinister in his gesture.

I see a Grandfather so choked with emotion & grief that he can barely breathe.

Same gesture...different views.
